The Korean Association of Orthodontists was established as a subordinate organization of the Korean Dental Association on May 28, 1959. The Journal was established in 1970, and the Journal is currently covered in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE). The Journal is published bimonthly, and the languages of the Journal are Korean and English. The Journal has tremendously contributed to the advancement of orthodontics in Korea, and over the years, its contents have achieved a level that meets global standards in terms of quality and significance. Its goal is to inform its readers of significant development and contemporary trends in all areas related to orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
